I've always loved bricks. Brick walls, brick houses, brick fireplaces. I'm originally from Southampton, England which means I try to annually visit my family over there and every time I go, I'm always struck by the gorgeous brick structures. It's just so classically England. There's a beautiful brick chimney attached to the side of my house which, with one glance, has me longing for my grandma's flourishing garden in Southampton, the rolling hills of Yorkshire, and the streets of Manchester. Nostalgia aside, it makes a nice background, don't you think?
